BALANCE, The SF LGBT Center, ASIAN, Inc., San Francisco Housing Development Corporation (SFHDC) and MEDA offer First Time Homebuyer Workshops self-paced. Self-paced workshops allow you to complete 6 of the 10 first time homebuyer education requirement for the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) programs.
Each household member must complete their own course and also attend the 2 hour individual counseling together. The individual counseling must be taken with the corresponding agency: BALANCE, The SF LGBT Center, ASIAN, Inc., SFHDC or MEDA.
Follow one of the links below to register for self-paced workshops with the counseling agency of your choice. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you must present to your housing counselor to schedule your individual counseling appointment with the same agency.
