In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
Helps older adults and people with disabilities with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, laundry, shopping, and cooking. When you qualify for IHSS, you can receive help at no or little cost with bathing, dressing, meal preparation and clean up, bowel and bladder care, light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping. In addition, you’ll be responsible for hiring, supervising, and scheduling your IHSS Providers, and for signing their timesheets.

Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS)
Coordinates services for older adults, veterans, people with disabilities, and their families to maximize safety, health, and independence.

Senior and Disability Action
Mobilizes and educates seniors and people with disabilities to fight for individual rights and social justice. Through individual support and collective action, they work together to create a city and world in which seniors and people with disabilities can live well and safely.
Bayanihan Equity Center (BEC)
Hosts recreational activities, and provides case management services in areas related to affordable housing, immigration, transportation, and many more, for San Francisco seniors and adults with disability.
Deaf Counseling, Advocacy, and Referral Agency (DCARA)
A non-profit, community-based social service agency serving the deaf and hard of hearing people of the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
