To submit a BMR purchase application, you must have: 1) Mortgage Pre-Approval Letter from a City approved lender and 2) Verification of Homebuyer Education dated within the past year.

All 10 hours of required homebuyer education MUST BE COMPLETED to receive a Verification of Homebuyer Education. Orientations, workshops and individual counseling appointments are provided on a first come, first served basis. If the event you’re trying to register for is full, please register for a different date. New events are posted as soon as they become available.

This class adopts a more in-depth analysis of dealing with collection companies, the “Do’s and Don’ts” of debt settlement and best practices for managing debt during COVID-19.
Clients will understand the difference between credit and debt.
Clients will be able to identify the key components of their credit report.
Clients will learn strategies to repair their credit.
Clients will obtain resources for products that boost their score.
