TO REGISTER AND ATTEND, please complete the following steps:

2. Click the “REGISTER HERE’ button or visit https://bit.ly/EducatorHousingClinic08272020  to register in advance via Zoom.

3. Attend the event by logging into the Event on Thursday, August 27th at 4 pm, and following the instructions and link sent via email after registering for the event.

 

This online event includes the following:

Educator Housing Workshop (from 4-4:45 pm) – learn about affordable housing options, programs and services that are available to SFUSD Educators and/or employees!

1:1 Drop-In Counseling Assistance (from 5-7:30 pm) – get personal support by meeting one-on-one with a certified housing counselor to discuss your housing goals, needs or questions.

 

EDUCATOR HOUSING SERVICES OFFERED

If you are an Educator or employee from the SFUSD, join our virtual housing clinic and receive free support and connection to resources for your individual housing needs, such as application support, financial capacity services and housing counseling via HUD approved nonprofit services providers and attorneys. Service areas include:

Rental Counseling: Access information about Below Market Rate rentals, home sharing and other affordable rental programs.

Home Purchase: HUD approved counselors connect you with Below Market Rate homeownership opportunities and downpayment assistance for you to buy your first home.

Eviction Defense: Legal guidance and advice to help you respond to landlord issues and legal notices.

Landlord/Tenant Support: Legal guidance to help you navigate through landlord/tenant situations.
