All San Francisco ownership opportunity programs through the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) require completion of 10 hours of homebuyer education by ALL members of the household age 18 and older, as follows:
1) MOHCD Homebuyer Program Orientation – 2 hrs.
2) First Time Homebuyer Workshop(s) – 6 hours. Attending this event ONLY SATISFIES HALF OF THIS REQUIREMENT. You must also attend Part 2 of the workshop with BALANCE to receive credit for all 6 hours. You will receive the link to register for Part 2 when you complete Part 1. Part 2 will take place on June 18th.
3) Individual Counseling at the same agency where the First Time Homebuyer Workshops were attended – 2 hours.

- If more than one person in your household will be joining the webinar, each person must register with their own email, and must log in from their own different device.
- Any participant who no-shows more than twice will not be allowed to register for the course again.
- Please arrive at the webinar on time. Attendees who do not arrive on time will not be given credit for the workshop. No exceptions.
